Investing in our Leaders of Tomorrow

Join the Brothers of Gamma Rho Chapter as we celebrate 70 years of holding high the aims of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.: Manly Deeds, Scholarship and Love for All Mankind.   As a demonstration of our commitment to the Fraternity’s aims, we have created a Gamma Rho Chapter Scholarship Endowment. This endowment symbolizes our dedication to support the development of strong leaders from Gamma Rho Chapter at the undergraduate level.

 

Contributions to the endowment will be used to create a scholarship fund. The endowment requires a minimum of $25,000.00 to be contributed within a five-year period.  Once the minimum is reached, the endowment’s profits will be used to fund an annual scholarship to an eligible Gamma Rho Chapter member who is enrolled at Purdue University, West Lafayette Campus as a full-time student.  Selection will be based on academic merit and exemplary community service.

 

The endowment will be administered by the Purdue Research Foundation, an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which advances the mission of Purdue University.  Donations to the endowment are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.
